On day 26, I developed a stress fracture in my foot, and every step was excruciating. I felt like I was letting everyone down—especially the mental health charity I was fundraising for. But instead of hiding my struggle, I chose to be vulnerable. I recorded a video through tears, sharing my fears and pain.


The response was overwhelming. Strangers reached out to encourage me, joined me on my final run, and donated to the fundraiser. More importantly, people sought therapy because of the story I shared. That experience taught me the power of vulnerability and how running can connect us in ways we never expect. It wasn’t just about the miles—it was about the journey of self-discovery and connection.
